“Imani Chisom is a recent Duquesne University’s McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts and Pittsburgh native. Imani received two Bachelor degrees in theology and English literature. She looks forward to furthering her education and obtaining her Master’s of Divinity at Howard University’s School of Divinity and later pursuing a Doctorate of Theology. She hopes to become an ordained pastor and teach theology at an institution of higher education. She runs her own blog named, “Honestly Imani Jai”, where she has had the opportunity to combine her passion for writing and advocacy to bring awareness to the issues that plague black girls and women during their experiences at predominantly white institutions.”
