Carolyn Glass

Carolyn Glass received her Bachelor of Science in Education from The Ohio State University and has worked as an educational consultant, speaker, and workshop presenter for more than 30 years, and is a seasoned advocate for families of children with disabilities. She is deeply committed to the education of all children and for many years was the Sponsorship Coordinator for the African Rural Schools Foundation. Carolyn was a founder and original board member of The Center for Creative Play and the 2013 recipient of the Linda Dickerson Award for Excellence in Advocacy, awarded by the nonprofit organization Working Women with Disabilities.

Carolyn is the youngest daughter of Civil Rights Pioneers Robert and Jean Graetz, who helped organize the Montgomery Bus Boycott of 1955, and grew up in a family that values diversity, inclusion, and social, economic, and political justice.

Carolyn has been a part of Always Busy Consulting since its inception, bringing her unique array of experiences and skills to the organization’s founding, helping to establish its vision, mission, and strategic direction. Carolyn has facilitated workshops and trainings for small and minority business owners and is excited about the potential of minority, women, and disadvantaged business enterprises in the Pittsburgh area.

She and her husband, Michael, are most excited about their ten children (including two with multiple, complex disabilities) and three grandchildren, and creating a better world for them all to enjoy.
